this past month was kinda shitty. i'm single again. my friend at work, david, was hit by a car and so was his mom, and his mother was killed. then my friend sam (age 15) was killed in a car crash up in monty. He worked at ponderosa supply, which uncle rob and i went to around every other day this summer, and he'd send me and sam to go get supplies, and we'd have a good time. my uncle's had a hard time with this because he always used to grab sam to help him on a project after i went back to school this fall. Sam was my aunt's 2nd cousin. So yesterday i drove up to monty and went to the visitation, then today we went to the funeral. He had a lot of girls at his funeral, what a playa ;) Good guy, i'll miss him next summer.

well, got back wednesday, but couldn't hang out because mother was mean. We had to go out to eat with my uncle and aunt at palgais, i was glad to spend time with my aunt and uncle before i left, but i was also hoping to make it home in time to hang out with some homiez.

Thursday I went to the new mall with my sis, mom and grandmom, we ate at joe's crab shack. Jake and Brett met me there, and we hung out for a while. Lisa came over to jakes and we ended up all going to my house so they could drop me off. We hung there for a while before they left. Tim Hanson, my sister's ex was there, which was cool because he's awesome. Then later my sis and i went and got some cigs, and some vodka for me.

Friday I went and hung out with Joe mattsen for a while. He showed me all his characters on world of warcraft, an online game, and I made a kickass girl character. She was hot and shot a bow, it was pimp. Then I went to get some food and met up with Brett. He wanted to release some turtles. We met up with Jake, and then Sara. We got out the vodka, and had a bit to drink. Liz came over, and then we went to Greenwood Pond. Liz had to drive. We hung out there in the back area. Jake and I were doing pullups and stuff, it was pissing liz off because she's like, "ok, we get it, you can do pullups!". Then I was teaching Jake the "silent ninja jump". We drove around in the car for awhile, and sara wanted to get some food at sonic. We were in the backseat, and I tried the patented "i'm stretching arm around move". Haha, then we all had to go home pretty much. Fun night though.

Saturday I had my lesson at 1:30, and was supposed to meet sara around 2 to go back to school shopping. Well she got in trouble and couldn't go, so I kinda got ditched!
Then worked called and said they were low on hours and not to come in. So I went home, mowed, did chores, awesome stuff like that. I ended up hooking up with Brett later, getting some food then watching some family guy. I talked to sara but she was busy and stuff, and Brett and Jake had to work, and Thai was busy also.

Sunday I hung out with my sis and family for most of the day. I picked up a new pair of shoes, and we went to target, then out to eat. After that I went over to Brett's house, and we hung out for a while. Then Jake and I hung out. We went to Greenwood and talked about the summer, chicks, and the upcoming year. Then went and bought pimp zippo lighters, they rule. I came home and stuff, so now I think I'll go play my guitar. I fucking have school tomorrow, and have to go at the normal time because of homeroom, then kill an hour before 2nd period. Oh well, I guess we'll see how it goes. Peace.

Saturday I had my guitar lesson, then had to work at 3. Worked till close which was alright, easy and kinda fun at gamestop.

Sunday I went to the fair with Jake and Brett. Jake and I had a bit of vodka at the fair, so it was pretty fun for us. Brett didn't have quite as much fun, but it was cool. Then we went to my house, and joked around with my parents. I had to go back to Monty, so my mom took me back.

I come back wednesday, then hopefully can hang out for a few days before school. Well, thats about it.

Whats up. I've had fun the past few weeks and I'm kind of looking forward to school.

Well, last friday, the 13th, I hung out with BRett and Liz for a while. We went to Beaverdale park for a while and hung out.

Saturday Brett and Sara and I went to the fair in the morning. Sara had never been so she was excited. We went on that cool slide, and I bought a bunch of dissapearing ink. Brett was constantly being inked, it ruled. We went on the skylift, and I sprayed a bunch of people with it from the air, that ruled too! We had to leave around 12:30, cause I had my guitar lesson. I went to that and was sold on a $700 gibson blueshawk electric guitar. Vintage cherry. mmmmmmmmm. So that was awesome. Then I worked at gamestop and got trained, it was easy and kind of fun. I just need to read some more about the new upcoming games. Then I talked to jake on the phone and stuff, made some plans. Sara called while a bit tipsy, and we talked for a long time. I kinda wish she knew that I don't stay interested in girls that aren't interested in me. I think she thinks I'm way into her or something. Oh well, I don't really give a shit.

Sunday I'm coming up with a blank. So I'll just ignore sunday.

Monday I went to Jordan Creek with Brett and Jake, but we just went to Best Buy and Petco, we didn't go in the mall. Then we picked up my guitar and amp from last chance. I played it a bunch and it was awesome. I had to go back to montezuma that night.

My aunt and uncle came to Des Moines on thurdsay to play horseshoes at the fair, so I came with and just stayed in Des Moines. I hung out with Brett and Liz and Jake.

Today I hung out with Liz for a bit. Then we met up with jake and stuff. After a while I hooked up with Tatge and Grant, and we ended up watching kill bill 2 with ben. Jake came eventually, then I left and went and saw The excorcist beginnings with sara. Pretty bad movie. Oh well.

Not a bad week, I work tomorrow, and have to go back to Montezuma sunday night and work till wednesday. Then I'm done. Well, got to go.

Lets see, friday. I got home late and I should've hung out with my good friend thai, but I didn't and I feel like an asshole.

Saturday I had my lesson and it went good. Learning some chords and stuff now. My cousin hooked me up with some stuff for the camping party. I met up with Sara and Jake and Lisa, and we went to Yellow Banks. We hung out and drank a bit. I couldn't get jake to chug a beer though, pussy. Haha I hope jake's reading this. Sara got way pissed when she saw me smoke a cigarette, but fuck that. Whatever. We took off when a conservationist pulled up, it was late anyways.

Sunday I went to amana with the family, it was real interesting. Thats why that story ends there.

So the rest of this week we'll be working our asses of at the same house, remodeling. I'm working on a song right now, it's called 15 minutes, thats all I'm saying now. It's cool because it just comes out of me, its a kind of personal song. Anyways, i'm bored and am gonna go do something else.

So whats up? Saturday was pretty cool. I helped my sister move in the morning, and saw cody. It was cool. I test drove the '93 mazda mx3. Few minor problems but cody and i can fix em. The engine bearings are dry and the oil gasket is leaky. I also wanna fix the broken "hold" button on the gear shift. My cousin matt said it's probably just an vaccum that was unplugged or something. I went out to eat with my family, then missed my guitar lesson which sucked. After I got home I left not too soon after. I hung out with thai at the mall for a while. We had a good time. I met up with jake and we met up with sara. We were at the pond for a bit, then lisa came and her brother followed. He wanted us to be careful and gave lisa some vodka. We went to hanniwalt and mixed some drinks. I watched how much I drank because i was the DD. actually sara made me stop drinking. So Jake and Lisa did their thing, and sara and I layed in the sand and talked for a long time. It was fun, I also quit smoking because sara told me I should. I've been tobacco free for 3 days now. Jake kept losing his keys, and everytime he found them he'd give everyone a hug, it was funny. I drove sara and Jake and we followed lisa home. Then I followed sara home in my car to make sure everyone was home safely.

Sunday I hung out with Brett and Liz for a bit, then eventually came home so I could go back to montezuma.

So far this week it doesn't seem like we've accomplished that much on the remodel job, but I've hurt myself a bunch more. I talked to kiley last night and she said she might come down saturday, and we could go camping or something. I also talked to clifford last night, apparently he actually gets drunk sometimes. I also talked to his "apparent" hot asian friend, and she wanted to hang out sometime too.

Well, better go to sleep so I don't oversleep the alarm. I'll post again sometime in the future.

I need a new pic for my picture. Anyways last friday I did something with some friends, but I really dont remember. Then saturday I went to my lesson, then went and hung out with ben. Sara met up with us, followed by jake. We picked him up and went to go borders and best buy. Then went to see bourne supremacy. Not too shabby.

Sunday I hooked up with thai, then hung out with him, jake, brett, liz and sara. Thai was trying to impress sara I think, werent you thai!! haha. We saw anchorman, and it was alright, i didnt think it was that great, but it was alright.

This week went kind of slow. Put up another ceiling consisting of 1' square tiles. It really sucks we couldn't just sheet rock the ceiling, nobody has used those 1' square tiles since the '50s. Also we built a bench, and pantry, and put up tile and stuff. Sprayed some more texture. I got more cuts and bruises this week than any other. The major one being the stringer from the stairs that rocked my face, mainly my cheek. Then I left my utility knife in my pocket when I came home, and got about 4 cuts on my hands just from reaching in my pocket for my keys.

Today my uncle brought me home. I talked to sara, brett and jake. Sara and I ended up planning on going to see 2 brothers, the movie. We met up and got dinner, then Brett ended up coming, so we met up with him but didnt have time to make the movie. We ended up going to see a later showing of harold and kumar, pretty funny I thought. Tomorrow night the plans are for jake, lisa, sara and i to have a little bit to drink, and hang out. Hopefully tomorrow's fun. Well, thats about it.

Haven't posted in a while...

So been up here chilling in montezuma. Its pretty cool up here. Lets see, last time I left off was a weekend 2 weeks ago. I went to see Anchorman with Grant and Andrew, but there weren't enough seats, so we skipped that. I met up with Brett and we hung out at Beaverdale park and stuff with Jake and Liz and Lisa. Jake banged up his knee which was "partly" my fault. Then we met up with this girl Kristen or something, kind of a cold chick. Then we went to Perkins for god knows what reason.

Saturday I went to my lesson, then met up with Grant, Jake, Charlie and Ben Atoms, ben was busy working on a chemistry project. haha. We went to rent a movie, but they were expensive so we were just gonna watch one grant burnt. Jake and I went to the Asian food store on 2nd ave and got some stuff, then went to Grant's to get my guitar. We met up with Brett and Liz and went to Gray's lake. Walked around the whole thing which is like 2 miles or something I guess. We dropped off Jake and went to see King Arthur. Not terrific but not horrible by any means. Keira knightley is really hot.

Sunday my sister and her roommate took me back up to montezuma.

The rest of the week we started the remodelling job on the other side of the lake. Tearing off the walls and ceiling, then setting up beams to support the 1ft square tile for the ceiling, then hung some sheet rock on the walls.

I came home saturday morning, Rob dropped me off at the bed and breakfast my mom is working at in Grinnel for a few days. I had been watching my aunt's work's softball game. My cousin Robert and his girlfriend Kristin (a counselor at meredith)came down to play in it. It was cool to see them again. Robert wanted his country mix back, so I reluctlantly gave it to him. I went to my guitar lesson after I got home, and learned some cool stuff. I picked up Thai at his house, as he had just got back from 'nam a few days earlier. We went to my house and started watching a movie before the nerd party. A few of my friends came over and brought computers to play games. I dragged mine downstairs, which sucked because its like 100 different things you have to move. Grant, Ben, Joe, Thai, Jake, Akili, and Thai's friend Alex Lifke came over. We hung out and went to Grandma Max's for dinner. Jake and I walked over to the church later to have a smoke (my dad was home) and we talked about stuff.

Sunday I cleaned the rooms a bit, and went to Gamestop to say hi to my old coworkers. The cool thing was Jason offered me a part-time job. I'll be working one weekend day a week (this every weekend when I come home from Monty) and then when school starts and I'm no longer working construction, I'll be working like 3 days a week. That worked well. My dad took me to see Spiderman 2, and then I went back up to Monty.

Been continuing the remodeling job this week, putting up more sheet rock, hanging the ceiling, and doing some mudding to smooth the walls. My sister called yesterday and told me her rommate Alana is selling her '93 mazda mx3 with 120,000 miles for $400. So I'm going to go look at it sometime soon and check it out. For $400 it's hard to go wrong. It's a 2DR coupe, red. I was interested in Cody's '85 crown vic but my parents don't want me to buy it cause it's so old and would be a big gas guzzler. So I'll have to break the news to cody. Or he can just read this. haha. Anyways, gonna go practice my guitar, peace out. Oh yeah, I went to buy the new ashley simpson cd today in Grinnell, but the walmart only got six copies. I was like, "damn, that sucks, she's really hot". Anyways, peace.
